Two teenage boys, aged XX & 17, have been charged with the murder of Zdravko Bilic, 57, the husband of skincare mogul Gry Susann Tomte. Bilic was allegedly stabbed to death outside his $XXX million home in Warana, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Australia, on Monday, July 14, after he reportedly confronted a thief breaking into his home. Emergency services responded after a neighbor found Bilic unresponsive in his front yard. Police believe he was stabbed twice in the stomach. Both teenagers have lengthy criminal histories & were allegedly involved in at least two other robberies in the days prior to the alleged murder, including one on the same night. The court heard that the parents of one boy are in prison, while the other teen is in foster care. New details emerged when the teens appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 17, where they were remanded in custody. Detective Inspector Chris Toohey stated, "We will be alleging a number of break-and-enters for the boys," & confirmed the vehicle used was stolen from Brisbane. Police have also located the alleged murder weapon, a knife, which is undergoing forensic testing. The case has been adjourned until September XX.
