The car likely would’ve performed well there regardless, as it suits the type of circuit where Ferrari has generally been stronger this season. This is my opinion. If a broader setup window is the true aim, Hungary and Zandvoort should offer a better test. These more technically diverse tracks are where we've struggled most with balance. I don’t think it’s simply a matter of running lower, we likely already do, and the new floor has helped us mitigate the ride height sensitivity to some extent. The real issue is balance, and in my view, it's the biggest limiting factor we face. Then there are other issues this doesn't directly solve (however there is capacity for it to be mitigated given there is more underlying pace in the car), such as the tyre warm-up/brake cooling problems, a potential power steering complication and managing rear tyre temperatures as effectively as McLaren. These all add to our struggles, and there is no guarantee of them being addressed with the rear suspension change.
