I find it noteworthy that the TGA balance as of Wed stands at $312b, virtually unch’ed from the $311b level at the time of the OBBB’s passage two weeks ago.

Suggests to me that the NY Fed and Treasury appear to be controlling the pace of the TGA refill, likely in response to the slightly elevated SOFR.

Will be interesting to see whether this dynamic shifts next week, now that stablecoin issuance can ramp up with the Genius Act set to become law tomorrow.
