He says a lot of things as you know. But I am going by two things he has preached from the 80s. Immigration control and bringing structural trade deficits down.

The latter can only be structurally solved by lower USD in the end, but before he gets there, he does need to extract dollars from overseas to finance his deficits, so squeeze then reset is the potential pathway I see.
