@AybeeinOH As an investment, diamonds never were a good idea—even before lab diamonds, natural diamonds were anything but scarce. De Beers had an unlawful cartel, which it kept out of US antitrust laws, but leakage, and Russian diamonds, undercut that. Lab diamonds simply finished the job.
