Manuel V. Pangilinan, the Chairman and CEO of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, says that discussions to increase its stake in the Philippine fintech company MAYA are still at a very preliminary stage. 

He also highlighted that MAYA has achieved profitability in the first half of the year.
