📝 Paypercut, a fintech startup based in Sofia, Bulgaria, has secured €2 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop a multi-provider "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) hub for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The round was led by Concentric, with participation from Passion Capital, RTP Global, Tuesday Capital, Robin Capital, Angel Invest Ventures, and several angel investors. Founded by Stoil Vasilev, Emil Savov, and Gareth Walsh, the company aims to streamline BNPL offerings for small and mid-sized merchants by providing a single integration that supports multiple providers and currencies. The funds will be used to expand BNPL partnerships, localize onboarding processes, and grow an agency channel. Paypercut is already operational in Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece, with plans to expand into the Czech Republic, Poland, and Turkey.
