Huawei sells primarily in one market, so can cater specifically for that market. Meanwhile for the likes of Samsung, they have to run by US standards, EU standards, UK standards, Australian standards, etc... Yes they're not as bold as they used to be, I'll admit. But they're catching up. And they won't rush to adopt technology that could have negative effects, such as SiC. The S Pen was a bad move, yes. A necessary evil? I'll have to get my hands on the device to judge that (I've got one coming within the next week 🤞).
