Samsung is working on One UI 8, with a focus on new features and improvements. The Galaxy S24 series will get One UI 8, including a new "Now Brief" feature with read-aloud and YouTube integration. Internal builds are being tested, with a stable release expected soon.

"Oh yeah I'll agree Samsung stagnated hard and are now playing catch-up. Huawei sells primarily in one market so can cater specifically for that market. Meanwhile for the likes of Samsung they have to run by US standards EU standards UK standards Australian standards etc. Yes they're not as bold as they used to be I'll admit. But they're catching up. And they won't rush to adopt technology that could have negative effects such as SiC. The S Pen was a bad move yes. A necessary evil I'll have to get my hands on the device to judge that (I've got one coming within the next week 🤞)"

"Don't forget Samsung runs on a much larger scale than a lot of these other companies. Oppo isn't releasing their Find N5 globally the Honor Magic V5 is only launching in Asia and Europe not North America. I could go on. Samsung is releasing their Fold X globally so needs higher yields and lower failure rates. So they're gonna cut costs and not be as bold with the tech as it's made for a boarder market"
