He said, "As you can see, our plan may be characterised as being ambitious, but we know that we can't do this alone, we believe in the power of partnerships, and that's why we partner with like-minded institutions and people to achieve these goals, and one such partner is Interswitch, who have worked with us before, and we are happy that they continue to work with us in such ventures." While reflecting on the Bank’s long-standing relationship with Interswitch, he acknowledged the meaningful progress both institutions have made together in advancing financial inclusion. This year marked a new chapter in that partnership, with Interswitch formally onboarded as one of Centenary Bank’s corporate agents under the agent banking model. Through the Quickteller Agent Service, customers can now access banking services across Interswitch’s robust network of over XXXXXX agents nationwide. He further expounded: "We know that this partnership is a demonstration that our motivation as Centenary Bank goes beyond profit and numbers, rather, we are in business to serve real people, doing real business; like the market vendor in the rural area who no longer has to spend time physically getting to a bank or a business owner who can now manage their money even outside regular banking hours. In today's fast-moving world, convenience isn't a luxury; it's what people expect, and this is what we've set out to deliver. We're therefore leveraging technology to create a seamless banking experience. At Centenary Bank we see ourselves as partners in involvement committed to reach the whole of Uganda, especially those in underserved communities, this partnership is a big step towards that goal." He concluded by extending his gratitude to the Interswitch Uganda Team for the collaboration and shared vision, and that, together, we're building a stronger and more connected financial system for Uganda. "And to our customers, banking has just gotten easier.
