Heart disease is the leading cause of death in developed countries. Plaque is responsible for XX% of fatal heart attacks.

+ XX% of men (30-35% for women) over XX have plaque. 
+ By 60, XX% of women have plaque.

I got mine checked (you can too). Fortunately, I have none. LDL and inflammation are primary drivers, kept at minimums.

My protocol:
+ nutrition: healthy fats i.e. MUFAs from EVOO, algal EPA and DHA, and Omega-7 from macadamias plus polyphenol-rich foods to minimize inflammation and support cardiovascular health.
+ high-quality sleep: 8-9 hours and, low resting heart rate
+ stress management: night time wind down routine, mediation/breathwork, exercise, relationships
+ exercise: A balanced routine incorporating cardio, resistance training, and HIIT.
