The UK tax burden is currently XX% of GDP, a record high. The equivalent in Norway is 42%, Finland 42%, Sweden 43%, Denmark 47%. So significantly higher in every case. 
Scandinavians at all income levels pay higher taxes on income, consumption (VAT) and social security contributions than in the UK.
