Blue Stevens, 26, a father of two, was fatally stabbed in broad daylight outside the five-star Park Tower Hotel & Casino in Knightsbridge, central London, on Wednesday, July X. Friends claim he had just had a romantic dinner with his partner, Tayla Marie, when a masked mugger attempted to snatch his gold Rolex watch, worth £12,250, while on a bike or e-scooter. Stevens, from a family of boxers (his grandfather was champion heavyweight Les Stevens), fought back & was stabbed in the chest. He died at the scene. His partner, Tayla Marie, laid flowers, writing: "To my Blue. We are absolutely devastated without you. You took a piece of my heart with you." His mother, Charlie, posted on Facebook: "Please. I want him back." An NYPD spokesperson said the shooting is under investigation, & cops have not revealed a possible motive for the fatal encounter — nor have they nabbed they nabbed the culprit. Police are probing whether it was a targeted attack & confirmed the theft of his watch remains a line of inquiry. Witnesses described a "bloody" scene.
