We only have official data for July 2024-March 2025 so far, when there were XXXXXX returns. BUT — only XXXXX (26% of total) were ‘Enforced Returns’ i.e. they were deported against their will. The rest were ‘Voluntary Returns’ i.e they went willingly, often with a large cheque to smooth their departure, courtesy of the British taxpayer. Projecting these trends for Labour’s first full year and you get Starmer’s XXXXXX — of which almost XX% (22,000) would be voluntary — and so nothing to boast about (nor up much overall on 2023).
