Erik Jones said when his team hired Will Rodgers as his spotter for this year, he said he'd spot for him if he was able to put something together to do racing of his own. Today, he'll be Rodgers' spotter in the Xfinity race.

Jones said it's been about XX years since the last time he spotted, and that he's never served as a primary spotter before. Rodgers joked that he thought it'd take more convincing and that this whole arrangement has been in the works since around Kansas.
