They are withholding the food needed to keep babies alive. Every single day we are seeing infants die from malnutrition and from complications relating to underlying health conditions that they are too weak and frail to fight through. The Sameer Project visited Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah and delivered packages of aid to XX children in the pediatric ward. Each child received X jars of nutritional “Hero” purée, we had XX boxes of “Riri” nutritional supplements and those who it was appropriate for got X boxes each, and XX children or babies needed Ceralac formula and got one can each. This basic support for babies and children are extremely expensive. We purchase XX boxes of the puréed food with XX jars in each box for XXXXX shekels, after commission this is $XXXXX. Each can of Celelac is XX shekels and each box of Riri is 18, so nearly $XX per can and $X per box after XX% bank transfer fees.
