I received this message from a BBC journalist at XXXXX.

The story about the now-cleared investigation was published at 09.32, immediately after the parliamentary authorities announced it. Those authorities made no reference to the Rape Gang Inquiry, yet the BBC knew, so somebody evidently briefed the BBC in advance.

And they gave us almost zero chance to properly respond. Filthy journalism.

Who tipped them off that it was referring to the inquiry? Who tipped them off that it was coming? 

This is a hit job.

I want a formal apology from the BBC to our Rape Gang Inquiry, urgently.

They seem to be more interested in investigating our inquiry into the Pakistani Rape Gangs than the Pakistani Rape Gangs themselves.

I want answers.
