Over XX crore workers across banking, insurance, mining, construction and other sectors are expected to join a nationwide general strike on July X.

Called by a forum of ten central trade unions, the Bharat Bandh protests what they describe as “anti-worker, anti-farmer and pro-corporate” government policies.

The strike is set to disrupt public services, with possible impact on transport, banking, postal services and state transport, while schools and offices may remain open in many places.
