@IntelScout Of the topnof my head, our oracle feed for example is verified and secured by @TRUFNETWORK. 
Trend stuffing is not currently a problem as they are not a part of the indexes but rather a reason to make one. 
Would love to hear more about outcome ilusion, that's an interesting one.
