$STZ BRANDS Q2 SALES DROP X% ON SOFTER DEMAND

Constellation Brands reported profit of $516M, down from $877M last year, with EPS at $XXXX vs $XXXX. Adjusted EPS came in at $3.22, missing estimates. Net sales fell X% to $2.52B, below expectations, as beer sales dipped X% and wine & spirits plunged 28%. The company cut its FY EPS outlook to $12.07-$12.37 from $12.33-$12.63, citing weaker spending, especially among Hispanic consumers. Beer sales are expected to be flat to up X% this year.
