Defensive sectors of $XLU and $XLP are sitting high and tight near ATHs and holding relative breakouts of multi year downtrends vs $SPX. This is not a good development for the 2H of the year.

Defensives ( $XLU + $XLP + $XLV) / Offensives ( $XLK + $SMH) look primed for 2H outperformance. This is not a bullish development for the market.
