Since @Futurenvesting and I debated @amitisinvesting and @DividendStreams on whether or not $SOFI is a tech company or just a bank on May 31, it's up 40%+.

A main crux of their argument was that the market doesn't give it the same premium as a tech company, so the market doesn't consider it a tech company, so it isn't a tech company.

So, now that its up XX% and it is literally the exact same company, is it a tech company since the market is now paying more of a premium? Or does it only become a tech company once it's above $XX or $25?

What price makes it a tech company? Or maybe deciding what a company is based purely on price action is a foolish way to think about it?
