Food desert speed run:

1) poor people are obese
2) there isn’t a single urban or suburban location in the U.S. farther than XX mins away from fresh groceries (food desert often defined by living farther than one mile from a grocery store)
3) only X% of households have no car, most by choice. There’s also public transportation and ebt pays for DoorDash
4) fresh food is cheaper than processed food
5) cooking isn’t hard and doesn’t take that much time
6) poor people have more free time than middle class/ rich people
7) shitty food taste really good which is why it’s chosen over the healthier option. Poor people on avg make worse choices for their lives.
