Grabbed one of these for $XXX and it is phenomenal. Heavy XX gauge steel, great slides.

Herman Miller 2005 vintage. One of the ladies that worked there for 30+ years showed me catalogs of old stuff from Hon, Steelcase, etc. from the 80s and every single thing was made from solid wood and metal, in USA or Canada. It wasn't that much more expensive accounting for inflation.
