My wife got into a car accident last week and her car got pretty banged up.

I had a feeling the insurance company was going to total the car because the cost of the repair is probably going to be higher than the cars value.

If the insurance company gives us a check for $7k that won’t be enough to buy a used car and we don’t have enough saved to cover the difference.

It seems like we’re being forced into becoming a one car household.

What would you do in this situation?
