When projects launch on $QUBIC, they go through an IPO At the start of the IPO, XXX shares are created These shares are then sold during the IPO phase and each share gives you 1/676 income of the fees generated by the project Examples of projects that have gone through the IPO are: - The Qubic Dex - The computer game My Last Match - The betting platform Quottery Each of these projects generate income by charging fees for transactions So owning an IPO share can be a great way of potentially earning weekly income from $QUBIC projects forever The issue is that IPO shares are very expensive, they can cost thousands of dollars (the dex shares cost around $20k each last time I checked) So this is where $QCAP comes in. The QCAP project consists of XX million $QCAP tokens. A portion of these tokens are sold every month. The proceeds from the sale of these tokens are used to buy IPO shares. If you own $QCAP tokens, every week, you earn a weekly income from the shares owned by the QCAP project An example: Let's say the $QCAP team announces that they are selling XXX thousand $QCAP tokens at a cost of XXX thousand $QUBIC each So for X billion $QUBIC, you can buy 4000 $QCAP Now the $QCAP team will use the proceeds from the sale of these tokens to buy some IPO shares So for example, they might buy X Quottery, X QDex, and one My Last Match share They then add those shares to their existing pool of shares, so for example, they might now have XX QDex, XX Quottery, XX My Last Match Every week, when people use these platforms, they generate fees, those fees are then paid out to the shareholders So the $QCAP will receive income for the share that they own They then distribute the income from the shares to $QCAP holders based on the percentage of $QCAP held by each person So for example, let's say you have 4000 $QCAP and the total currently in circulation is X million $QCAP X million/4000 = XXX So you receive 1/250th of the total payout that $QCAP received Why $QCAP is a risky investment: Ok BIG WARNING HERE DYOR, $QCAP could fail and is risky Why is it risky?? $QCAP's success is tied to the number of users the $QUBIC network attracts If the $QUBIC network doesn't attract many users to its projects, then those projects won't be generating fees, which means there won't be much in the way of payouts each week This is basically where we are at right now... $QUBIC hasn't many users, so there aren't many fees being generated by the projects This means $QCAP isn't paying a lot right now And lets face it... nothing is guaranteed... maybe the network will never have many users and the projects will never generate many fees!! Why I think $QCAP could be a good investment: But here is why I've bought some QCAP and why I think it potentially could be a great investment If the QUBIC network starts getting some decent use, not even major use, then the projects on it should start generating a decent income from fees Currently, the price for each QCAP is under $X Now think about that... Each QCAP costs under $X and it pays out an income each week Even with very low usage, it is reasonable to think that each QCAP could pay out X cent per week That means that you would earn XX cent per year... so after X years you would have earned XXX cent This mean after X years you would have already earned back the cost of your QCAP token in passive income But you also still have your original QCAP token that is still worth around $X and may even have gone up in price... so really you have doubled your income.. But imagine if the QUBIC network starts generating a lot of use And each QCAP token starts generating around $X per week That means that you would have bought a QCAP for less than $X and now it is generating $XX per year And what happens to the price of your QCAP token?? Well if it is generating $XX per year, it has to go up in price I'm guessing a QCAP generating $XX per year would conservatively be selling for $XXX Since there are only XX million QCAP overall, and since they generate passive income, I imagine people won't be eager to sell them.. So I'm guessing a QCAP token generating $XX per year would probably sell for a lot more than $XXX And it is possible that each QCAP could be generating much more than $X per week.... of course it also could be generating much less!!! It all depends on the level of use the QUBIC network receives When we talk about owning X QCAP token, the numbers don't sound that amazing.... ...but imagine owning 1000 QCAP, then the numbers start to sound much better Suddenly you are earning 1000 cent per month or $1000 per month etc. Conclusion: I just want to reiterate, it is really risky to invest in QCAP because you are gambling on the level of use that the QUBIC network will have in the future If you only have a little money to invest, I don't recommend throwing it into QCAP, you are better off investing in QUBIC directly or investing in another crypto project altogether But if you have a little spare money, I think QCAP is a solid investment that could pay off big At less than $X per QCAP, speculation alone could push the price up and any decent usage of the QUBIC network should push the price up significantly while also generating a decent passive income per week One final point!! My favourite thing about QCAP is that it gives you access to a diversified portfolio of QUBIC IPO shares It is risky to put a few thousand dollars into a Quottery share or a My Last Match share because one of those projects could fail The great thing about QCAP is that they are buying shares for all the different IPOs So if Quottery fails as a project but My Last Match is a massive success, you will be protected because your are earning income from a diversified portfolio That's all I've got on the subject of QCAP Definitely one to DYOR on but I'm hoping this post gave you an overview of what QCAP is and why it has got great potential XXXXXX engagements **Related Topics** [legit](/topic/legit) [ipo](/topic/ipo) [$qcap](/topic/$qcap) [$qubic](/topic/$qubic) [coins layer 1](/topic/coins-layer-1) [coins pow](/topic/coins-pow) [coins ai](/topic/coins-ai) [Post Link](https://x.com/TheCryptoEscape/status/1876321785509028158)

I have been quiet on the $QUBIC project $QCAP but today I want to share some thoughts on it
I was initially quiet about this project because it hadn't gone through the IPO process with $QUBIC and it had no smart contract set-up
So for that reason, although it seemed like a legitimate project, I didn't want to discuss it just in case it wasn't legit
But now it has gone through a review by the $QUBIC team, the IPO has taken place, the smart contract is set-up and it has already made the first payouts...
...I'm comfortable saying this is a legit project and I want to share why I think it potentially could be a great investment
What is $QCAP?
When projects launch on $QUBIC, they go through an IPO
At the start of the IPO, XXX shares are created
These shares are then sold during the IPO phase and each share gives you 1/676 income of the fees generated by the project
Examples of projects that have gone through the IPO are:
Each of these projects generate income by charging fees for transactions
So owning an IPO share can be a great way of potentially earning weekly income from $QUBIC projects forever
The issue is that IPO shares are very expensive, they can cost thousands of dollars (the dex shares cost around $20k each last time I checked)
So this is where $QCAP comes in.
The QCAP project consists of XX million $QCAP tokens.
A portion of these tokens are sold every month.
The proceeds from the sale of these tokens are used to buy IPO shares.
If you own $QCAP tokens, every week, you earn a weekly income from the shares owned by the QCAP project
An example:
Let's say the $QCAP team announces that they are selling XXX thousand $QCAP tokens at a cost of XXX thousand $QUBIC each
So for X billion $QUBIC, you can buy 4000 $QCAP
Now the $QCAP team will use the proceeds from the sale of these tokens to buy some IPO shares
So for example, they might buy X Quottery, X QDex, and one My Last Match share
They then add those shares to their existing pool of shares, so for example, they might now have XX QDex, XX Quottery, XX My Last Match
Every week, when people use these platforms, they generate fees, those fees are then paid out to the shareholders
So the $QCAP will receive income for the share that they own
They then distribute the income from the shares to $QCAP holders based on the percentage of $QCAP held by each person
So for example, let's say you have 4000 $QCAP and the total currently in circulation is X million $QCAP
X million/4000 = XXX
So you receive 1/250th of the total payout that $QCAP received
Why $QCAP is a risky investment:
Ok BIG WARNING HERE
DYOR, $QCAP could fail and is risky
Why is it risky??
$QCAP's success is tied to the number of users the $QUBIC network attracts
If the $QUBIC network doesn't attract many users to its projects, then those projects won't be generating fees, which means there won't be much in the way of payouts each week
This is basically where we are at right now...
$QUBIC hasn't many users, so there aren't many fees being generated by the projects
This means $QCAP isn't paying a lot right now
And lets face it... nothing is guaranteed... maybe the network will never have many users and the projects will never generate many fees!!
Why I think $QCAP could be a good investment:
But here is why I've bought some QCAP and why I think it potentially could be a great investment
If the QUBIC network starts getting some decent use, not even major use, then the projects on it should start generating a decent income from fees
Currently, the price for each QCAP is under $X
Now think about that...
Each QCAP costs under $X and it pays out an income each week
Even with very low usage, it is reasonable to think that each QCAP could pay out X cent per week
That means that you would earn XX cent per year... so after X years you would have earned XXX cent
This mean after X years you would have already earned back the cost of your QCAP token in passive income
But you also still have your original QCAP token that is still worth around $X and may even have gone up in price... so really you have doubled your income..
But imagine if the QUBIC network starts generating a lot of use
And each QCAP token starts generating around $X per week
That means that you would have bought a QCAP for less than $X and now it is generating $XX per year
And what happens to the price of your QCAP token??
Well if it is generating $XX per year, it has to go up in price
I'm guessing a QCAP generating $XX per year would conservatively be selling for $XXX
Since there are only XX million QCAP overall, and since they generate passive income, I imagine people won't be eager to sell them..
So I'm guessing a QCAP token generating $XX per year would probably sell for a lot more than $XXX
And it is possible that each QCAP could be generating much more than $X per week.... of course it also could be generating much less!!! It all depends on the level of use the QUBIC network receives
When we talk about owning X QCAP token, the numbers don't sound that amazing....
...but imagine owning 1000 QCAP, then the numbers start to sound much better
Suddenly you are earning 1000 cent per month or $1000 per month etc.
Conclusion:
I just want to reiterate, it is really risky to invest in QCAP because you are gambling on the level of use that the QUBIC network will have in the future
If you only have a little money to invest, I don't recommend throwing it into QCAP, you are better off investing in QUBIC directly or investing in another crypto project altogether
But if you have a little spare money, I think QCAP is a solid investment that could pay off big
At less than $X per QCAP, speculation alone could push the price up and any decent usage of the QUBIC network should push the price up significantly while also generating a decent passive income per week
One final point!!
My favourite thing about QCAP is that it gives you access to a diversified portfolio of QUBIC IPO shares
It is risky to put a few thousand dollars into a Quottery share or a My Last Match share because one of those projects could fail
The great thing about QCAP is that they are buying shares for all the different IPOs
So if Quottery fails as a project but My Last Match is a massive success, you will be protected because your are earning income from a diversified portfolio
That's all I've got on the subject of QCAP
Definitely one to DYOR on but I'm hoping this post gave you an overview of what QCAP is and why it has got great potential
