"1/ The worst part of the gov. shutdown isnt the delayed CPI PCE or Jobs reports. Its that some of the data may never be published. When the gov. shuts down data collection itself stops. Surveys price checks and employment sampling are suspended. The BLS and BEA cant catch up later those missed collection windows are gone for good. So if the shutdown lasts through October there wont just be a delay therell be no October data to publish in November. Part of inflation spending and labor data would go dark until December. Thats why real-time independent data as Truflation exists because economic"
