"delete social media from your phone. constant notifications + habitually checking your phone = a fried dopaminergic system. alerts trigger stress hormones which increase the craving for dopamine. we're being trained to reward distraction not depth. i go through phases but the easiest way to reset is complete abstinence. make it a conscious effort to doom scroll. delete all the apps and only check them on your computer. by day 3: baseline dopamine sensitivity starts returning attention span starts to increase creativity increases stress levels decrease you may start to feel like a human being"
