"as with all things the higher the timeframe the better for validity/confirmation of the trend shift itself but you can still track it on LTFs with more precision. Honestly it depends how big the base is. If it sits in a basing stage for weeks or even months then the Daily or Weekly would be better most likely whereas a smaller basing stage you might be able to track easier on the 4HR etc. i.e. this basing here on amp is easier to see on the Hourly and the 4HR it's still too small for the Daily/Weekly to pick it up. It could stay here for months or it could stay here for hours the key is only"
