Samsung is working on One UI 8, with a focus on new features and improvements. The Galaxy S24 series will get One UI 8, including a new "Now Brief" feature with read-aloud and YouTube integration. Internal builds are being tested, with a stable release expected soon.

"I installed it finally. Initial impressions: Zed is minimal af. Layout is very similar to what I'm used to in Cursor. Chat on right terminal on bottom files on right. I do miss split screen for open files tho. The setup is much more manual in Zed if you don't use their in-built AI. They make it easy to plug in GitHub Copilot or whatever API you use which is good. Zed is way more efficient I don't have my Mac whining about Cursor hogging 5gb of ram 😭. Need to use it more but loving it so far actually"

"Yeah that's what I mean. Difference is Exynos hasn't been pushed this hard since the 2200 with the S22 series. They scrapped the 2300 in the S23 series came back stronger than ever with 2400 and 2500 was even more of a shocker in the Flip X. Makes total sense to push Exynos more than ever now especially with Qualcomm's chips rising in price and tariffs playing a huge role in consumer economics in general. Would you pay almost $1500 for an S26U with a Snapdragon chip or $1299 for an Exynos one"
