"as time goes on rocm becomes more mature. I dont think it needs to be comparable with CUDA for hyperscalers to want to use it. Disregard what people are parroting about rocm not being good enough. You've already seen META OpenAI and now oracle say they'll start deploying more AMD gpus and they've been using rocm for the last 2-3 years so they clearly think its good enough. Maybe the small startups can't afford to spend the extra money on understanding rocm and thats ok majority of the money will come from the hyperscalers"
