"I was watching this and as soon as Brice Turang dodged the 1-2 pitch I said Oh crap He could have let it hit him and immediately I was reminded how easy it looks watching from my couch. As a hitter you never think about letting a pitch hit you. I remember many times thinking I could have let a pitch hit me right after I somehow got out of the way. It happens really fast and its a natural instinct to avoid getting hit with an object that you know will hurt you. My advice is to appreciate how talented these players are and trust that they are giving it everything they have to help their teams."

Here are a couple of my favorites We had a great German pub in the City that had those awesome German beer barrels and we said what is the depth of that barrel. Ha. I have never seen a swing quite like his and considering that Ive been watching baseball for XX years that seems impossible. My point is that his swing works for him. Thats really all that matters right Hunter Pence had an unusual swing too but it worked for him. Mo Vaughn had an unusual swing but it worked for him. Theres nothing wrong with trying to emulate certain players swings. In fact I encourage you to experiment with different swings until you find the one that works best for you"
