"The premium tax credit subsidy for ACA plans- 2019 : $57B 2023: $91B 2024: $125B The ACA's Medicaid expansion covers over 44M people - half of whom are in subsidized marketplace plans administered by for profit insurance companies. Actual Medicaid (different than these ACA plans) covers 88M lives/month at a cost of over $900B annually. (Compared to 57M lives at a cost of $427B in 2010). Over $571B was deployed towards managed care spending by insurance companies. The ACA was a massive wealth shift away from taxpayers/employers and patients towards hospitals and insurance companies"
