What happened is that they filed an 8-K with the SEC where they reported the following: * Zions made a $XX million loan to two unnamed borrowers. * They discovered that other banks were suing these borrowers which presumably seemed suspicious. * Zions made an internal review of the loan and found "irregularities" and "misrepresentations" which probably means the borrowers lied more than a crazy ex-wife. * Zions is suing the borrowers and is "taking a provision" for $XX million which is essentially lingo for "we fucked up and the money is"
