"COP: $130M. P&A: $70M. Total $200M. It is headed for $200-225M final depending on late legs. That will be $90M revenue to the studio from just the theatrical. Movies have other revenue sources like Home media TV streaming etc which could be anywhere from $50-100M+. How the f**k is it losing $100M Yes it's not profitable but A) box office is impressive B) it will bring awards and C) maybe just maybe with non-theatrical revenue it will break even.
