"Respectfully disagree you are advocating 10-15% portfolio allocation to gold for diversification. but over any 10+ year period that allocation has massively underperformed equities. yes gold outperforms during crises but crises are temporary and stocks recover. holding XX% in an asset with XXX% real returns is paying enormous opportunity cost for insurance against tail events. better to just hold more cash and deploy during crashes"
