"I own no gold. Here's what I got wrong plus a prediction: I was born in 1985. For my entire life gold has been a risk-off asset. It was a horrendous investment from 1980 until the GFC started in '07 and again from 2011-2023. I am deeply indoctrinated with the notion that you buy gold when you're bearish the world. But I am 10/10 convicted that we are in a bullish megatrend and will be for at least another X years. So what changed Gold is now a dedollarization hedge and this has only been the case since Ukraine. The USA stole Russia's money as punishment for the invasion sometime in late '22"
