"Sounds like we going to see a lot of lawsuits for sure. It is also strange to me that Binance's insurance fund dropped by a few hundred million but still had plenty of cash in it (1b). ADL only should have kicked in the insurance fund was zero. If there was cash it should have been able to close out these positions over time. ADL performs two functions. X. Keep the exchange solvent (close out against profitable traders and clawback profits to offset any insurance fund loss) X. Liquidity of last resort (close out positions against existing traders to reduce OI) #1) was not a problem given"
