"Croatia needs tens of thousands of rental cars during summer season but these same cars sit idle all winter. This creates wild pricing imbalances. Ive rented cars for 4/day outside the summer season and a rental agent told me shes seen them go for just 1.80/day 😁 Regarding where used rental cars go I heard they usually auction them off after a year or two of service before the cars start to break down"
