At the local fair you can get the equivalent of a can of Pepsi for $X last year $X this year. It isn't new that fair vendors gouge the hell out of people and it has nothing to do with tariffs"

"Small government doesn't solve problems. Where did I say "small" government.with its own powers to check the power of economic oligarchs Oligarchs don't have power. Jeff Bezos can't tell me I have to be Catholic. Bill Gates can't dictate what type of lightbulb I have in my house. But government has that power even if they don't have the Constitutional authority. And there's the problem. *Large* and powerful government can't be kept in check in much the same way as you stupidly think powerful oligarchs can't be kept in check"
