"Well this may be true but it also might not be true. If it is true it is a risky strategy because they need to repay the loan at some point and so they can lose a lot of money if they are wrong. MMs skewing short seems quite risky to me for the payoff unless the loan is huge compared to float. MMs make more money when tokens go up bc they just get to buy the tokens for cheap with the strikes associated with the loan.
