"I wanted to quickly break down the bug I mentioned on the @ctbbpodcast. They're dropping detailed hacker notes tomorrow but I can clear a few things up for anyone who isn't familiar with these kinds of techniques. First you need to know that browsers have a Same-Origin Policy (SOP). Features like OAuth and postMessage are specifically designed to get around this policy which makes them prime targets during a bug hunt. While the browser handles most SOP origin checks automatically it doesn't do it for postMessage. It's on the developer to verify that the message is coming from a trusted"
