If you measured the increase in carbon emission in the US during that time of industrialization you would see a similar increase"

"People flee from countries all the time. Ukraine lost almost half its population of XX million in the past three years. Half fled to the West and the other half to Russia. Cuba on the other hand lost less than X% of its population who fled to the US when the US declared a boycott on Cuban trade forcing the Cubans to turn to the Soviet Union for economic help. About half of the population of Puerto Rico though fled to the US mainland over the past XX years. I wonder what percent of Ireland's population fled in the early part of the last century.
