"Once a kid is XX schools need to stop sending parents all the forms and reminders and send them to the kids emails instead. They are plenty old enough to read through everything add it to their calendars fill out forms and hand to their parents for signature. I do not need to remind my kids about red shirt day crazy hair day sign ups for soccer etc. The kids have their own email addresses (that I monitor) they can manage filling out their own forms setting reminders and paying for field trips using their GreenLight debit cards.
