"I think that trendline break needs context with respect to the assets involved. GOLD/USD: has utterly gone gigamoon rippage mode. Think it can keep going in the short term (i.e. rest of Q4) BTC/USD: crypto market just experienced a black swan event that flushed an ungodly amount of leverage. Whether it was an artificial black swan or not it feels like a leverage/sentiment reset event (and BTC/USD is currently recovering something that doesn't necessarily need to take more than a couple weeks).
