But if its a seizure does that mean its gone through RICOH and is officially in their custody at this point Because until it actually gets granted as an asset or the government and went through the proper channels then it cant actually become an asset of the government in most cases/ places. Additionally those seizure funds are often redistributed to fund other task forces who do work that aligns directly with the types of cases where the original seizure took place. Ex: a fraud seizure would often go through an entire process. Once the government is awarded funding- those assets"
