"that's not a profession. I take issue particularly with "performer". It's invalid. It's not a show; it's not entertainment. I think the challenge was finding a word for someone who has sex or indeed a suitable noun but it could have just been "man" if nothing else. "Participant" or "instigator" might have worked. People who have sex aren't performers. And with extreme and unlawful sex acts it's not possible to be a legitimate performer. It would have been better with "fanatic" "obsessive" or replacing the description with something like "sex extremist". I don't think "enthusiast" and similar"
