My family and I spent some time at Disney World $DIS this week and if you ever want to see the (pricing) power of nostalgia thats where you need to go. There are some downsides of nostalgia of course especially if one drinks too deeply from that cup (the past isnt as rosy as we remember) but it also provides a sense of community connectedness and familiarity that are in such short supply today.
