"Right then lots to get through here. - Great to have Williams back. Him and O'Connor is probably #ReadingFC's best CB pairing even if it's slow - Lots of chopping and changing at LB between two underperforming players. Need a good showing out of Jacob - Happy Elliott's got another chance. Could be about rotation but either way he needs to take this opportunity - Surprised Ritchie is starting again. Presumed he'd be rotated out for Kyerewaa - No Marriott is a big concern. Also very telling that Hunt's gone for Ehibhatiomhan over O'Mahony"

"Hmmm odd game to sum up #ReadingFC definitely deserving of the win but to a large extent that was because of how poor Northampton were Some moments of quality including for the goal: a really nice cross from Lane and header from Ehibhatiomhan But overall inconsistent and this wasn't a performance that built on the attacking promise on Saturday Still the most important job - win - was done. And with a clean sheet too"

"Good afternoon from Cardiff Big fan of the safe standing setup they have here now. #readingfc have had some good games here in recent years - including Norwood's free-kick in a comeback cup win Yann's late winner in 2016 a shootout victory after a 3-3 cup draw in 2020 - and some. less good games too. Hopefully the former today. Royals are still waiting for a first league away win of the season and getting it here - somewhat unexpectedly - would be the shot in the arm this team needs. URZ"
