"It's a good question to ask yourself. My answer: I don't think so. "Well I mentioned the first five. In the latest five the Evolution chain with novel data contracts and decentralized indexed data where you don't need to run or trust a node or an indexer to use. Another first (or very early implementation). Even with that the Dash DAO fired a previous team in 2022 for slow/under-performance. I get the feeling that eCash could probably do the same. No project has it all and I'm sure every one would want more dev capacity but if I held significant XEC I would be asking tough questions right now"

"There's this phenomenon in crypto I call Bagholder Derangement Syndrome (BDS). Basically an investor buys a heavy bag of a crypto based on a set of assumptions: XYZ attributes are the future and any crypto with them will do amazingly. Things don't work out. Either the price stagnates adoption doesn't happen hype does whatever. Over time they don't challenge their base assumptions or reevaluate why those assumptions may not have applied to their investment. Instead they develop BDS. With BDS they fixate on a single tiny largely irrelevant factor and make it out in their mind to be the one"

"One of my biggest "side quests" over the past couple years is finally in motion I got into crypto in 2012/2013 for radical financial sovereignty and privacy is an essential part of this. Dash is the best shot at mass adoption of something actually decentralized but its first feature privacy needed a tune-up. The first of many tune-ups is incoming now"
